Welcome to my fourth post of Cooking Through “Little House”. Thanks for coming along on the journey so far in trying out some foods from my favorite childhood books. Today as you already know is lemonade. The lemon trees at our school are producing in abundance right now making this the perfect time of year to make a nice refreshing glass of lemonade.
- 1½ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 6 cups of water
- ⅓ cup raw honey
- Warm one cup of water. Stir in the raw honey until it is dissolved.
- Mix with the remaining 5 cups of water and chill before serving!
