I don’t know about you but I love chocolate, especially dark chocolate. Yet I try not to eat it too often. A few months ago I was reading a magazine, “No Greater Joy” and there was a picture of all these sumptuous looking chocolates. I then went to NGJ’s website and found the recipe. They are so easy to make and good for you too! The original recipe was by Shoshanna Easling and was called Chocolate Icing/Fudge on a Spoon. Being how I am I can never leave a recipe how it is, (something I learned from my mom when I was a little girl) I made my own version of this yummy chocolate treat!
Dark Chocolate Fudge
3/4 Cup Raw Honey
3/4 Cup Coconut Oil, softened
1 Cup Cocoa Powder
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Peppermint Extract (optional)
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into a small glass dish greased with coconut oil. Put in fridge to chill until firm. Cut into bit sized pieces and enjoy!
