Sunday night at our staff Bible Study those of us that went to Israel showed pictures and videos and shared our own personal highlights. Some of which I am going to be sharing over the next few weeks. 🙂 At the end of the study I wanted to give everyone a little taste of Israel so I served my own version of tahini and honey ice cream while we listened to Messianic praise music. I was not disappointed. The ice cream turned out so creamy and delicious! It made me think of halva, a candy that I had in Israel that was made from tahini and sugar, hence the resemblance in the taste. Enjoy!
2 cups raw heavy cream
1 cup raw whole milk
1/2 cup thaini
1/2 cup raw honey
2 pastured eggs
1 TBS vanilla extract
1 TBS arrowroot powder (optional for extra creaminess)
Mix together in a blender. Pour into ice cream maker and process according to instructions given with your maker. Enjoy!
