Looking for a way to warm up in the cool fall weather? Then this Pumpkin Pie Latte is for you! So simple and good for you too! Plus is way cheaper than Starbucks, which doesn’t even use real pumpkin, they use syrup. No thank you! This latte takes only minutes to make plus you don’t even have to leave the house! It is a perfect drink all by itself or with a piece of Sourdough Pumpkin Spice Cake. If you have a few minutes, treat yourself to this seasonal latte and a good book!
Pumpkin Pie Latte

serves 2

3 cups raw milk
1/2 cup espresso or strong coffee
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
4 TBS Maple Syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp allspice
Blend all the ingredients together. Pour into a small saucepan and warm over low heat, stirring constantly. Be sure not to let the latte’s temperature rise above 110 degrees F. Otherwise the good bacteria in the raw milk will be destroyed. I’m sure this would be delightful with coconut milk as well.

Yum yum yum! I’ll be making this in the morning for a friend I’m working in the nursery with at church. She LOVES pumpkin spice lattes but is definitely wary of all the chemicals. 🙂

Your Pumpkin Pie Latte sounds fabulous, and I like how nutritious it is with the actual pumpkin in it. The spices you have used sound delicious too. This is a perfect healthy autumn drink!

I just made this latte on a chilly Colorado afternoon…OMG, it is FABULOUS! I did double the coffee cause I was afraid it wouldn’t taste much like coffee with only 1/4 cup, and I did increase the pumpkin by a tablespoon. It is smooth, creamy and delish! It didn’t look anything like the picture though (not foamy), cause the spices floated around sticking together, but the taste totally made up for it! This will become a regular in our home!
