Sorry for the long absence of blogging this past month. It has been a crazy last few weeks! Filled with finishing up the school year, a trip to the beach, visiting groups, a tea party, good bye parties, cleaning, packing, gardening and two graduations. I’m state side for the next couple month. This past Friday we had our graduation and awards ceremony. It was a bitter sweet day because three of my girls. Marvella, Julissa and Wendy won’t be coming back in the fall. Marvella and Julissa have been with me for seven years! It’s had to imagine life without them! Thanks to facebook and Skype I should be able to keep in contact with all three. As soon as the graduation was over I said a a lot of good bye and got a ton of hugs before hopping in my friend’s car to be whisked off to the San Diego airport before all my girls even left for home. My “little”sister Emily graduated from high school on Saturday so I was given permission to leave early to surprise her, which I did! It was a wonderful day! All though I miss my girls, friends and Mexico so much already I am thankful to be able to have this time with my family. It will be a much needed time to rest, plan and catch up with family, friends and supporters. I normally I am tired by the end of the school year but this year I find myself completely drained. I am looking forward to a time of rest and refreshment with my Heavenly Papa. I need his direction to focus on how he wants me to use my time more wisely and for his glory. Here’s a picture that I am going to use for my new prayer card. My awesome friends Allison and  Janet picked what they called the perfect “Katie” location and Allison’s husband Kevin took it. My girls Karen, Sheley and I braved the prickly weeds and wind! I hope you like it!
