Celebrating the True St. Patrick {Plus Traditional Irish Dishes}

Top o’ the morin’ to ya! It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day. The Irish and little girl in me come out every year on this misrepresented holiday. Honestly it was all about the food, green food and soda bread to be exact. Thankfully my days of artificially dyed green food are over, instead, I’ve rekindled some of my love for Irish food and for learning the history of the day. 

Following in the tradition I’ve started on Modern Alternative Mama, let’s look into why we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and who the real St. Patrick was.
