Healing Chai Tea

Have you been feeling less than on-par recently? We’ve been fighting colds the past couple weeks, they spread through every.last.person in the house. Thankfully we have some tasty remedies on hand that help speed up the healing process.

ChaiSpicesMAH

This chai tea has the usual ingredients like cinnamon, cardamom and all spice but it also has three surprising ingredients that heal your body, licorice root, marshmallow root and fenugreek. The licorice and marshmallow roots are sweet enough on their own not to need an additional sweetener. If desired you can add a bit of raw honey. Coconut milk is used instead of dairy milk since dairy causes the body to create more mucus.

Join me over at Modern Alternative Health to learn about these amazing herbs and how to make this tasty chai!
