Living in a dorm leads to lots of smells that I would rather do without. Sixteen girls sharing one living space and one bathroom. Peeweh! Unfortunately most air fresheners and deodorizers are in aerosol cans. Making your own is easy and very frugal. We’ve been using these two bottles for the past few months and look how much is still left! When ever I make things for the girls to use I draw a picture to help them remember what is for or in the this case what sent the air freshener is. Many of our girls are just learning how to read so pictures help a lot. So here is what you need:
Air Freshener and Deodorizer
Spray Bottle
Fill with one part white vinegar
Two parts water
About fifty drops of essential oil ( I’ve used lavender and sweet orange)
It’s as easy as that!
